I have signed up with Kendi Everyday to participate in the next 30 for 30 challenge. And this is warm up. (Un) fortunately, I won’t be able to stick by the no shopping rule since we had booked for a holiday to Hong Kong earlier. I’ll be doing myself a great disservice if I don’t do any shopping, not to mention disappoint my husband who has generously set aside $600 for me to shop! But I suppose it would otherwise not affect the challenge. I am mentally trying to organize my wardrobe, which actually desperately needs some real organizing.
I wish I had someone to take photographs of me. Unfortunately, I’m not blessed with a techie husband( not that I am not blessed, just not in this aspect) bloggers who have partners who double as photographers , lucky you! Not everybody knows how to frame shots, you know. Really need a good eye for details. So I am going to have to make do with shots like this. Which is not a bad thing since it makes it a whole lot easier for me to update my blog using the iPhone.
I went to Spotlight yesterday and came across this polka dot fabric in cotton satin. It was soft to touch, immediately j knew what to do with it. Ta-da!! It’s s b***h to sew though. I’m hopeless in handling soft fabric, the curved hem looks terrible close up.. So don’t look too hard. The shoulder part is a little too wide too.
And..I’m proooobbbabllly going to include this in the 30 for 30 challenge. I’m already playing dress up in my head. Woot!
