Have you seen these at Honestly, WTF? I have some beads and thread lying around.. Going to try this for sure!
DIY wrap bracelet September 29, 2011
Saw this on Honestly WTF sometime ago.
Finally got down to doing it. I did mine a little differently, instead of just winding it around, I tied a figure of 4 knot so that it’s more secured. Used a clasp instead of the hex nut. The chain turned out a little too short for 5 rounds and too long for 4. So I added a short chain and ta-dah!! Done!

The body part to focus now is your wrist. I like the piling on of different mismatch bracelets; Chunky and skinny, metal and fabric, bright and dark. The contrast makes for an interesting piece of art on your wrist.

Oh. My. Gawd. The difference in price is so .. So.. I’m lost for words. They are so similar!

In case you haven’t notice, friendship bands and woven bracelets are all the rage now. See here and here for an idea how big they are this season. I can’t believe I waited until now to do my first DIY. Anyway, this is the first but definitely not the last. So check back for more DIY posts.
Start by joining two jump rings together. Make two of these, you will need another one for the other end of the bracelet.
Then stringing two strands of suedette through one of the rings.
Start braiding until you reach your desired length.
String all the four strands of suedette ends through one of the jump rings and tighten with a plier. Attach the clasp and we are good.
